Chess Club PDF Print E-mail

The chess club sessions cover chess pieces’ movements, their importance, how to think in chess in term of attack, def ense, and threats.  The chess club runs for 2 sessions; one in the Fall and one in the Spring.  Each session will have 12 -  1 ½  hour classes.  The fee for each session is $65.  We are limited to 65 students per session; therefore, participation is on a first come, first serve basis upon receipt of payment.  The registration form will go out in Wednesday’s folder.  The class will divide into 3 group levels (Novice, Intermediate and Advance).  We will have an in-house tournament at the end of each session.  Students that are the top 3 from each group will receive a trophy or medal for award.
